Terms of Service

Welcome to STAR speed camera!

Introduction. Thank you for choosing to use STAR speed camera. For users residing in the European Economic Area ("EEA") and Switzerland, the service is provided by Vision Lab SRL.

Our Service. The Service and Content are subject to these Terms and any additional limitations specified at the time of purchase or access. The user, after making the purchase and accepting the Terms, will be able to access the Service. The user may purchase or subscribe to Content and access the purchased Content in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability regarding the misuse or illegal use of content and products that may be purchased, provided for free, or included as part of a paid subscription for personal and non-commercial use.

Limitation of Liability. Vision Lab S.R.L. and STAR Speed Camera disclaim any liability for any damage (such as data loss, additional expenses, or incorrect results) suffered by users from the use or attempted use of the software. In particular, they are in no case liable to the user or third parties for indirect damages, incidental damages, fines or penalties, and are likewise not liable for compensation claims for damages due to loss of profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or other financial losses arising from the use or attempted use of the software. This disclaimer does not apply in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence. Rights derived from mandatory legal requirements remain unaffected.

Access to and Use of Content. Content may be purchased, provided for free (e.g., as part of a demo, a free trial, or a promotion), or included as part of a paid subscription for personal and non-commercial use. Content is associated with the email provided during purchase and is non-transferable, meaning the user may not

Restrictions. It is not permitted to:

  • use any Content, in whole or in part, as part of a public performance (except where permitted by the Service’s features or where such use does not infringe copyright);
  • use ripping or stream capture software or similar tools to record or create a copy of the Content, even if it is provided for free (unless such action does not constitute a copyright infringement);
  • sell, rent, lease, or redistribute access to the offered digital products.

 

Purchased Content. With the purchase of Content ("Purchased Content"), the user is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Purchased Content, subject to the Terms and any additional limitations specified at the time of purchase or access. Purchasing Content means the user is granted the right to access the Purchased Content via the Service, but does not transfer ownership rights in the Purchased Content.

Completeness and Accuracy of Data. Vision Lab S.R.L. and STAR Speed Camera do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the data.

Supported Countries. Access to the Content is provided from supported countries. Content and features may vary by country. If the user accesses the service outside their home country, certain Content or features may not be available. 

Third-party Fees. The user is responsible for any data or access charges incurred from third parties (such as their Internet provider or mobile operator) in connection with using and viewing the Content.

  1. Purchases and Payments

The following section applies to all purchases on STAR speed camera.

Prices. Prices and availability of all Content and subscriptions are subject to change at any time before purchase.

Contract Formation. Any contract for the purchase and use of Content or subscriptions is concluded and becomes effective as soon as the user completes the purchase.

Reservations. When the user reserves Content, they receive a confirmation email for the reservation only. The contract for the purchase and use of such Content is deemed concluded when the Content is made available to the user, at which point the user will be charged the purchase price. The user can cancel the reservation at any time until the Content becomes available. STAR speed camera will cancel the reservation if the Content is withdrawn from sale beforehand and reserves the right to cancel the order if the price is changed before fulfillment.

Subscriptions. If the user purchases a subscription, they will receive any Content or services provided as part of the subscription on an ongoing basis, unless they choose to cancel. Subscription costs are charged automatically at the start of each billing period (monthly, annually, or other duration as indicated during the subscription process) and no later than 24 hours before the start of each billing period.

  1. Price Changes. When the user purchases a subscription, they are charged the applicable fee as soon as they agree to subscribe. If the subscription price is subsequently increased, STAR speed camera will notify the user. Before applying any price increase, we will consider and balance users’ interests. The increase will apply to the next payment due after notification, provided that the user has been given at least 30 days’ written notice. If the user is given less than 30 days' notice, the increase will apply to the payment following the next due payment. If the user does not wish to pay the increased amount, they can cancel the subscription. In doing so, no further subscription charges will apply, provided notice is given before the end of the current billing period.
  2. Cancellations. The user may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Subscriptions may include rights to access and use certain Content. These rights will be revoked upon cancellation of the subscription.

Refunds.

  1. Withdrawal Rights for Consumers Residing in the EEA or the UK

The terms in this section apply only to consumers residing in the EEA or the UK.

Withdrawal Rights for Digital Content. By law, users have the right to withdraw from contracts for the purchase of Content on STAR speed camera. The same applies to digital content subscriptions. However, when the user purchases digital Content on STAR speed camera, they agree that the Content will be made available immediately and, as a result, waive the right of withdrawal.

Withdrawal Rights for Physical Products.

  1. Customs Fees
    If the ordered products are delivered outside of Italy or the European Economic Area, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, levied by customs once the product reaches the destination country. These additional customs fees are your sole responsibility and cannot be predicted by us. Therefore, we recommend contacting the customs office of the destination country to obtain accurate information and comply with applicable laws.

  2. Right of Withdrawal
    As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without penalty and without giving any reason, within 14 days from the date you receive the purchased products. You may cancel the purchase, with the only cost being the return of the product.
    If your order includes more than one product, you may withdraw from the purchase of just one of them. The 14-day period begins in any case from the delivery of the last item.

  3. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
    To exercise the right of withdrawal, you can submit a request via email to info@star-speedcamera.com with the subject "EXERCISE OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL ORDER NO. #xxxxxx".

 

The communication must include your order details, full name and surname so we can perform the necessary checks.

 

For your convenience, you may use the following form:

  1. Product Return
    In case of withdrawal, it is your responsibility to return the product within 14 days from the date you communicated your intent to withdraw. You bear responsibility for what happens during shipment (damage, theft, loss, etc.) until we receive the returned product. If the item is damaged during transport, we will notify you within 5 days of receipt, allowing you to promptly report it to the courier and seek compensation (if insured). In this case, the product will be made available to you for pickup at your expense and the withdrawal request will be canceled.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
You must return the product intact, in its original packaging, complete in all parts (including packaging and any documentation or accessories), making sure to remove all previous labels and barcodes and attach the new shipping label provided by the courier.

 

We ask that you include your order number inside the package (the number provided in your order confirmation, e.g., #12345). A handwritten note with this reference is sufficient. Please remove all previously applied labels and barcodes from the outside of the package.

Lastly, please keep and share with us via email the tracking number, if provided by the courier.

 

  1. Refunds
    You will only be liable for any reduction in value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Subject to verification of compliance with the above, we will issue your refund within 14 days of return, using the same payment method chosen at purchase.
    The refund includes delivery costs up to the minimum amount selectable during the purchase process. If multiple delivery options were available and you didn’t choose the least expensive one, we will refund the cost of the cheapest option available.
    If you return the product damaged, we may charge for the diminished value. If the damage voids the right of withdrawal, no refund will be issued. The product will remain at our facility for you to collect at your expense. In any case, we will notify you within 5 days of receiving the returned product.

 

  1. Changes to the Terms

Changes to the Terms. The Terms may be amended. Users residing in the European Economic Area ("EEA") may be offered the option to accept or reject changes to the Terms. Changes will not apply to users who do not consent to them; however, we reserve the right to discontinue the Service if all other termination requirements are met (in accordance with these Terms or the terms of a specific service).
